The most perfect oats recipe EVER!

Ok so if you weren’t already aware there’s kinda a prerequisite to following us…You basically have to like oats. Whether that’s oat-porny bowls of goodness, or even coating your chicken nuggets in oats rather than breadcrumbs, if you don’t like oats in any form then please unfollow us immediately. (Ok this is a joke BUT I would ask yourself some questions if oats aren’t in your top 5 favourite foods). It could be that your oat-making tekkers is off, so listen up listen in to our ultimate oats recipe and let us know if we change your mind!

Milk (dairy milk or nut milk, whatever tickles your pickle)

Multipower Whey Protein in desired flavour. Our top 3 have to be French Vanilla (if you’re a classic kinda guy this has to be your jam), Rich Chocolate (fabulous on a cosy winter morning) and Coffee Caramel (even though it’s caffeine free it still gives me a morning boost!)

Step 1:

Measure out desired quantity of oats (I usually have about 50g)

Step 2:

Add liquid. I use 50/50 water and dairy milk (a fitness foodie blogger who still eats dairy I know, heresy!) I fill my oats with liquid about ½ an inch above the oats as I think this gives more volume.

Step 3:

Microwave for 30-45 seconds dependent on microwave strength, until they’re about half cooked and luke warm. Remove them from the microwave and add 30g of Multipower Whey Protein, stirring in until it’s all desolved and isn’t lumpy. Put back into the microwave for another 30-45 seconds.

Step 4:

Remove from the microwave and add desired toppings (see our earlier blogpost for delicious topping ideas!)

Let us know if you use this recipe and long live the oats! LP x
